The top two expressions on the estack are internally-simplified algebraic
expressions, and

indexes the deeper of these two expressions. If either is
Float and the other is numeric, replaces with 0.0 either that has magnitude

expression if it is zero, otherwise pushing an IM_RE_TAG.
