80 Configuring Handhelds
3. Carefully remove the
batteries.
Caution: You may
need to use a tool to
remove the batteries
as they fit tightly in
the unit. If using a
tool, be careful not to
damage either the
batteries or the
handheld.
4. Insert fresh batteries.
Ensure that the +
side of each battery
faces away from the
display screen.
5. Replace the keypad.
Inserting the TI-Nspire Rechargeable Battery
If purchased, complete the following steps to insert the TI-Nspire
Rechargeable Battery into a handheld.
1. Use a small screwdriver to release the panel from the back of the
handheld.
