9.2 Accessory parts
For operation of the DAF290, the following optional accessory parts can be
supplied:
1. Handwinding wheel
2. Rope clamp
3. Blocking clamp
4. Rope clamp for rope pulley
5. Pressure arm
6. Hydraulic jack
Note: The listed parts are necessary for deployment in emergencies or in the
case of servicing or repair work and at least one of each should be present in
every machine room.
1. Handwinding wheel
The handwinding wheel is bolted onto the front of the traction sheave.
It is used to move the elevator when the weights are balanced, when the car
weight = counterweight
The brake must be released by hand
Important: The handwinding wheel must be removed before switching on
the motor! No motor operation with the handwinding wheel fitted
2. Rope clamp
Place the rope clamp before tightening
the screws (2) on the machine base frame.
When mounting on the traction sheave
rope departure, the opening (1) must rest
on the frame and the opposite side on the
flat bar welded in the frame.
Deployment:
a) Rope locking; it prevents rope movements in the direction of the support.
b) To hold the elevator car in position
c) For readjustment on releasing the car from the engaged position (safety
gear)
