3.Checkandadjustfrontandreartirepressure;
refertoCheckingtheTirePressure(page52).
4.Remove,sharpen,andbalancethemower
blades.Installthebladesandtorquetheblade
fastenersto115to149N∙m(85to110ft-lb).
5.Checkallfastenersforloosenessandtighten
themasnecessary.T orquethe6boltssecuring
themowerdeckframetothetractionunit(Figure
94)to359N∙m(265ft-lb).

1.Draintheengineoilfromtheoilpanandreplace
thedrainplug.
2.Replacetheoillter.
3.Filltheenginewiththerecommendedmotoroil.
4.Starttheengineandrunitatidlespeedfor2
minutes.
5.Drainthefuelfromthefueltank,fuellines,
pump,lter,andseparator.Flushthefueltank
withcleandieselfuelandconnectallfuellines.
6.Thoroughlycleanandservicetheair-cleaner
assembly.
7.Sealtheair-cleanerinletandtheexhaustoutlet
withweatherproofmaskingtape.
8.Checktheoilllercapandfuel-tankcapto
ensurethattheyaresecurelyinplace.
