PostScript Printer Description file
The Macintosh PPD (PostScript Printer Description) file contains information about controller-specific
features.
The following PPD files and plug-ins are provided for Macintosh:
The PPD file and plug-ins used for Macintosh on the Mac OS X 10.4.x to Mac OS X 10.6.x
The PPD file and plug-ins used for Macintosh on the Mac OS X 10.7 or later
The plug-ins used for Mac OS X 10.7 or later are not included in the Install Disc for the model below. When
you install the PPD file, they will be also installed automatically.

Planning for installation
System requirements
To install the printer drivers on a Mac OS computer, the following environment is required.
Display resolution: 1028 x 768 dots or more
OS: Mac OS X 10.4.x to Mac OS X 10.10.x
Protocol: TCP/IP, AppleTalk (Ethernet), Bonjour
