Optional Devices
Removing a PC card
To remove the PC card, follow the steps below.
1. Open the Safety Remove Hardware icon on the system tray and
disable the PC card.
2. Press the PC card eject button to extend it.
3. Press the extended eject button to pop the card out slightly.
4. Grasp the PC card and draw it out.

Memory expansion
You can install additional memory in the computer’s memory module
socket to increase the amount of RAM. This section describes how to
install and remove a memory module.
Before removing a PC card, make sure that any applications or system
services do not use the card.
Be sure to disable the PC card prior to removing it. Otherwise, the
system may be fatally damaged.
