3.4 Semiconductor Fuses
Semiconductor fuses can be used with the TMC7 soft starter to reduce the potential for damage to SCRs from transient overload
currents and for Type 2 coordination. TMC7 soft starters have been tested to achieve Type 2 coordination with semiconductor fuses.
Suitable Bussman & Ferraz semiconductor fuses are detailed below.
