NOTICE
To prevent damage to your vehicle
Before opening/closing the passengers’ door, make sure that it is safe to
operate the passengers’ door.
Do not apply excessive force to the passengers’ door when it is operating.
During automatic operation: Do not let passengers ride or put their feet on
the passengers’ door arm or link. It may damage the door-opening mecha-
nism.
Do not hold any part other than the grip.
Before opening/closing the passengers’ door, make sure that nothing may
obstruct the operation of the door.
Do not close the passengers’ door by applying the brakes. Doing so could
cause the passengers’ door to be damaged.
To prevent passengers’ door closer malfunction
Do not apply excessive force to the passengers’ door while the passen-
gers’ door closer is operating.
If the passengers’ door is repeatedly opened and closed, the passengers’
door closer may not operate. In this case, open the passengers’ door and
wait a short while before closing it.
Accelerator interlock precautions (if equipped)
Do not depress the accelerator pedal with the automatic passengers’ door
open, or open or close the automatic passengers’ door with the accelerator
pedal depressed. Doing so may cause the accelerator interlock mechanism
to malfunction.
