8-2. Steps to take in an emergency

When trouble arises
With the vehicle completely stopped, reach under the vehicle and
push the emergency open button located under the front of the vehi-
cle, on the passengers’ door side
Use the emergency open button only in an emergency.
The emergency open button is not designed to close the automatic
passengers’ door.
If the automatic passengers’ door needs to be
opened from the outside in an emergency

 : If equipped
If the automatic passengers’ door system is enabled, the pas-
sengers’ door cannot be opened from the outside. If it is neces-
sary to open the door from the outside in an emergency, push
the emergency open button located on the outside of the vehi-
cle. The door then can be opened from the outside.
