NOTICE
To prevent damage to your vehicle
Before opening/closing the passengers’ door, make sure that it is safe to
operate the passengers’ door.
Vehicles with an automatic passengers’ door: Do not apply excessive
force to the passengers’ door when it is operating.
During automatic operation (if equipped) or while using the remote control
(mechanical folding door [if equipped]): Do not let passengers ride or put
their feet on the passengers’ door arm or link. It may damage the door-
opening mechanism.
Do not hold any part other than the cross bar.
Do not close the passengers’ door by applying the brakes. Doing so could
cause the passengers’ door to be damaged.
Accelerator interlock precautions (if equipped)
Do not depress the accelerator pedal with the automatic passengers’ door
open, or open or close the automatic passengers’ door with the accelerator
pedal depressed. Doing so may cause the accelerator interlock mechanism
to malfunction.
