Installing the Power Supply Module
Grounding the Power Supply Module
Important: To ensure proper operation, the power supply module must be grounded.The
preferred grounding location for the power supply module is at the 24 Vac input
connection.
Important: Trane does not recommend connecting the ground wire to one leg of the 24 VAC
transformer output at the transformer lead.
Installing Field Wire
Note: Use the 24Vac output connection if daisy-chaining unit control modules to the power supply
module.The current drawn through this connection should not exceed 3 Aac.

transformer return wire into the same
connection terminal.
