Water Pump Maintenance
CAUTION! The lifting eyebolts of the motor are suitable
for the weight of the motor only. It is not allowed to carry
the complete pump on the lifting eyebolts of the motor.
Motor
Check the motor at regular intervals. It is important
to keep the motor clean in order to ensure adequate
ventilation. If the pump is installed in a dusty
environment, both pump and motor must be cleaned
and checked regularly.
Lubrication
The pump shaft seal does not require any special
maintenance. Visual leakage check are however required.
Distinctly visible leakage will require an exchange of the
seal.
The bearing of motors must be greased at the shortest
period (4000 hours , maintenance nameplate or yearly
service). The required grease quantity is 10g per bearing.
The motor must run during lubrication.
Use lithium-based grease.
