Fault Tracing
A number of symptoms and possible causes of engine malfunctions are described in the table below. We
recommend that you always contact your Volvo Penta dealer if problems occur which you cannot resolve by
yourself.

Engine cannot be stopped 2, 4, 5, 7, 8
Starter motor does not rotate 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 36, 39
Starter motor rotates slowly 1, 2
