The unit does not require special maintenance measures. The following will sup-
port trouble-free functioning of the unit.
• Do not expose the unit to water or humidity.
• Clean the unit by wiping carefully with a dry cloth.
• Donotopentheunitortrytoxitwhenanymalfunctionoccurs.Allrepairs
must be repaired by an authorised service provider. Additional information is

Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
The waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) symbol
The 4430 unit is covered by WEEE. The EU Waste Electrical and Electronic Equip-
ment Directive (the WEEE directive) regulates matters concerning electrical and
electronic equipment waste. It lays down the objectives for collection, recycling and
recovery of various electronic equipment.
Therefore, all users of 4430 units, from public institutions to private households,
have to return the 4430 unit to a designated waste electrical and electronic equip-
ment collection point. Additional information is available from the equipment dealer.
