3.1.2 PowerStation Periodic Maintenance
Periodic maintenance is covered in the Operation and Maintenance Manual (P/N 06740).
Periodic maintenance includes:
a. Inspection and replacement of worn output cables
b. Inspection and replacement of worn gaskets
c. Inspection and rework/replacement of connectors
3.1.3 Field Application Software Upgrades
3.1.3.1 Application Software Upgrades
Application software may be updated in the field. The details of the updated configuration will be
communicated through a service bulletin. To upgrade the application software, connect a PC
compatible laptop to the serial communication connector located on the left side of the
PowerStation cabinet (as viewed from the front). Your laptop must be configured with
Webasto's downloader application. You must also have a serial communication cable to connect
from your laptop’s serial port to the connector on the DVS.
1. Connect Serial cable.
2. Start DVS in Bootloader mode.
3. Open Downloader Application in laptop.
4. Clear Logs
5. Clear Boot Kernal
6. Select Browse to find and open the version of application code identified in service bulletin.
7. Click Send Application.
8. Click Jump To Application
3.1.4 Field Replaceable Parts (PowerStation Cabinet)
If it has been determined that one of these components has failed, a qualified service technician
may replace the component. Be sure all power (DC power on the main bus, as well as 120VAC)
has been removed from the system before performing any of these operations. These instructions
