D. Internet Services
Overview
Internet Services are a series of Web (HTML) Pages located
within the printer that give you access to the printer from your
client workstation using a web browser. You can use Internet
Services to:
• Print from you workstation’
• Review print jobs
• Obtain machine and consumable status
• Download scanned originals
• Create and edit scan templates
• Configure the printer (with access rights)
Introduction
Internet Services is the embedded HTTP server application that
resides in the Printer. Using a browser (Netscape Navigator 4.x or
Internet Explorer 5.x) you can access any DocuColor 2240/1632
on an IP network using TCP/IP protocol. Simply enter the printer/
copier’s IP address as the URL in the browser.
