D. Internet Services
Overview
Internet Services are a series of Web (HTML) Pages located
within the printer that give you access to the printer from your
client workstation using a web browser. You can use Internet
Services to:
Print from you workstation’
Review print jobs
Obtain machine and consumable status
Download scanned originals
Create and edit scan templates
Configure the printer (with access rights)
Introduction
Internet Services is the embedded HTTP server application that
resides in the Printer. Using a browser (Netscape Navigator 4.x or
Internet Explorer 5.x) you can access any DocuColor 2240/1632
on an IP network using TCP/IP protocol. Simply enter the printer/
copier’s IP address as the URL in the browser.
