Adjust the default value to meet the motor
and safety pulse encoder in use. You can
use this formula to define the value:
r_max × ppr_enc + 10%, where
r_max = the maximum motor speed used
in the application (or the motor nominal
speed)
ppr_enc = Pulses/revolution of the safety
pulse encoder (parameter 92.10).
Drive parameter settings
The parameter setting in ACS880 primary control program:

torque off (STO) signals are switched off or lost.

Warning/Warning is the recommended setting.
To prevent the drive from generating a fault each time the FSO module activates the drive
STO function, ABB recommends that you do not set parameter 31.22 STO indication run/stop
to value Fault/Fault, Fault/Warning, or Fault/Event.

Note: ACS880 primary control program controls the inverter unit by default. There are
dedicated control units for the supply and inverter units.
The parameters are set at the factory. The supply unit parameter settings in the ACS880
supply control programs:
parameter 121.04 Emergency stop mode is set to value Stop and warning
parameter 121.05 Emergency stop source is set to value DIIL.

The inverter unit parameter settings in the ACS880 primary control program:
