6.2.3 Indoor stations IP Touch 7 and Guard unit
First address stations IP Touch 7 or Guard unit. Addressing is carried out in the same way for
all versions.

The wizard is displayed after the device has booted up automatically and will guide you through
the first setup. If the device has already been setup, the main menu is displayed directly.
To address the device, perform the following steps:
1. Boot up the device.
The device boots up automatically when the power supply is connected.
2. For an initial commissioning of the device: Follow the steps of the wizard for the initial
commissioning.
For a LAN / WLAN version of the device: During the initial commissioning, the area of
the network selection is run through. Skip the area if no selection is to be made here.
Then nothing is saved.
3. Enter the physical address of the device in menu "System / settings / local settings".
A new password must be assigned once during the first call-up of the "Settings" menu.
The old password of the factory settings is: 345678. This must be replaced with a
personal password. Simple passwords consisting of sequential numbers, for
example, are not possible.
