7 Preparation and start-up
Remove the protective film from the Meter display.
7.1 Setup Wizard
You must complete the Setup Wizard before you can use your Meter.
For the standard setting, you need to set:
· Language (your local language should be set by default.)
· Time (your Meter should adopt the time and date from the Pump as soon as
you switch it on)
· Units for Carbohydrates
· Warning limit for low blood-glucose level (hypoglycaemia)
· Warning limit for high blood-glucose level (hyperglycaemia)
· One Time Block
!!! For the standard setup, do NOT setup Bolus Advice or Reminder
Settings. These settings will be setup later, according to the procedure
described in the Advanced Lesson of the Training Handbook.
