3.10 Inserting a new insulin cartridge
Hold the Pump upright. Hold the new filled
cartridge so that the connected adapter and
infusion set point upwards, parallel, and close
to the cartridge compartment.
Press a or s to move the piston rod forward
until the end plate of the piston rod is level with
the bottom of the cartridge plunger.
Make sure that the top edge of the threaded part
of the adapter is level with the top part of the
cartridge compartment.
The CARTRIDGE VOLUME decreases accord-
ingly on the screen.
Tip: to prevent air bubbles move the piston rod to
at least 310 units.
