6. MENU NAVIGATION - EXCITER
With reference to the MENU TREE shown earlier, the following operational menus can be
accessed, by pressing the MENU key, from the initial main menu screen.
Then, using the up / down arrow keys to select the parameter to be changed followed by the
ENTER key to select the next menu layer.
A “prompt” is given at the top of the screen showing the function of the highlighted menu option.
The “exciter” menu is split into these four main headings:
ENCODER - All parameters relating to video, audio, multiplexing and data encoding are
accessed here.
PRESETS – Loading and storing of ‘preset’ unit configurations.
UNIT SETUP - Parameters relating to Output mode, RF Options, Video options and Remux
options are set or viewed here.
SYSTEM - Non-routine parameters are set or viewed here.
