Press AUDIO/SETUP (CDE-W235EBT only) or press AUDIO
(CDE-W233E only) repeatedly to choose the desired mode.
Each press changes the mode as follows:

Turn the Rotary encoder until the desired sound is obtained
in each mode.
By setting DEFEAT ON, previously adjusted settings of BASS, MID,
TRE LEVEL and LOUDNESS will return to the factory defaults.

When the subwoofer mode is set to OFF, its level cannot be
adjusted.
Adjustment cannot be performed when DEFEAT is set to ON.
ese functions are inoperable when Subwoofer is set to OFF.
For details about loudness, refer to “Turning Loudness On/O” on
page 12.
e FACTORY EQ’s setting value and 3BAND EQ’s setting value
are linkage. In step 3, three sound adjustment items (Bass, Mid
and Treble) can be selected in 3BAND EQ mode, turn the
Rotary
encoder
to select the desired item, and then press
s
/ENTER
to
continue to step 4.
Adjustable only when DEFEAT is OFF.
e FACTORY EQ’s setting value and 3BAND EQ’s setting value
are linkage.
If no operation is performed for 5 seconds, the unit automatically
returns to normal mode.

Press and hold AUDIO/SETUP (CDE-W235EBT only) for at
least 2 seconds or press SETUP (CDE-W233E only) to activate
the SETUP mode.
Press and hold AUDIO/SETUP (CDE-W235EBT only) for at
least 2 seconds or press SETUP (CDE-W233E only) to return
to normal mode.
Turn the Rotary encoder to select AUDIO, and then press
s
/ENTER.

Turn the Rotary encoder to change the setting, and then

/ENTER.
(e.g. Select SUBW ON or SUBW OFF)
You can exibly customize the unit to suit your own preference and
usage. From the AUDIO SETUP menu, Audio Setting can be modied.
Use steps 1 to 5 to select one of the setting modes to modify.
See the applicable section below for details about the selected
setting item.

Note
Pressing

returns to the previous Sound menu mode.
Pressing and holding
