The following items appear only when you set the SATA Controller 1 Mode Selection to
[RAID] or [AHCI].
Support Aggressive Link Power Management [Disabled]
This item is designed for LPM (link power management) support with a better energy saving
conditions. When set to [Enabled], the hot plug function of SATA ports are disabled.

SATA6G_1(Gray) - SATA6G_6(Gray)
SATA6G_1(Gray) - SATA6G_6(Gray) [Enabled]
This item allows you to enable or disable the selected SATA port.

Hot Plug [Disabled]
These items allows you to enable or disable SATA Hot Plug Support.

SATA Controller 2
SATA Controller 2 Mode Selection [AHCI]
This item allows you to set the SATA conguration.
[Disabled] Disable the SATA function.
[IDE] Use SATA hard disk as Parallel ATA storage devices
[AHCI] Set to [AHCI] when you want the SATA hard disk drives to use the AHCI
(Advanced Host Controller Interface). The AHCI allows the onboard storage
driver to enable advanced Serial ATA features that increases storage
performance on random workloads by allowing the drive to internally
optimize the order of commands.
Due to Intel
®
chipset specication, the SATA ports from controller 2 does not support Intel
®
Rapid Storage Technology including RAID conguration.
