5.5 Checking the display

Procedure
Before carrying out any maintenance, repair or adjustment work, stop the unit, press the
emergency stop button, switch off the voltage and depressurize the unit.
Step Action
1 Regularly check the display for readings and messages. Normally, the main display is
shown, indicating the unit outlet pressure and the status of the unit.
2 Always check the display and remedy the trouble if warning sign (2) is alight or flashing.
3 The display will show a service message if a service plan interval has been exceeded or
if a service level for a monitored component has been exceeded. Carry out the service
actions of the indicated plans or replace the component and reset the relevant timer.
4 Regularly call up the actual unit condition:
• The unit control status (automatic or manual, local or remote)
• The status of the unit start/stop timer (active or not). The unit is automatically
started/stopped if these start/stop commands are programmed and activated.
• The maximum working pressure
• The outlet pressure
• The pressure drop over the air filters
• The oil pressure
• The outlet temperature
• The temperature of the unit element
• The oil temperature
• The status of the drive motor and fan motor overload protection (normal or not)
• The total running hours
