7.1 Why Doesn't the FXO End a PBX/PSTN Call
A common issue is that a call from a PBX that is connected to the FXO device is not
disconnected by the device and the voice channel remains open and a BYE message is not
sent to the IP. This is because the device has not been properly configured to recognize the
disconnection signaling that is used by the PBX.
Tip: When this occurs, there is no need to reset the device. Instead, access the Web
interface's Home page of the device and click the channel that is still open. Select the
option ‘Reset Channel’ to release the channel.
