DTMF suffix dialling
DTMF suffix dialling enables you to access net-
work services or use them for controlling
devices, e.g. for remote monitoring of an
answering machine. You need a corresponding
combination of digits or characters, the DTMF
code, to access this feature.
DTMF suffix dialling is available to you once a
connection has been established.
1. Enter phone number.
2. Press the button to establish the con-
nection.
3. Press and hold down the button.
4. Enter the appropriate digits or characters of
the DTMF code.
Each digit or character is transmitted imme-
diately and confirmed by a tone.
Inserting
Insert telephone keypad until it engages.
Emergency call*
Conditions for making an emergency call, see
page 235.
5 To enter digits 1-9.
6 To enter special characters.
7 To enter digit 0.
8 Press briefly: to enter special char-
acters.
Press and hold down
