Mirrors
Adjusting mirrors
Move mirror into desired posi-
tion by twisting.
Adjust mirror arm
Slide protective cap 1 up over
screw connection on mirror
arm.
Brace nut 2 and turn mirror
arm to desired position.
Slide protective cap over
threaded fastener.
Headlight
Headlight range and
spring preload
The headlight range generally
remains constant due to the ad-
justment of the spring preload to
the loading state. Spring preload
adjustment may only be insuffi-
cient when the motorcycle is very
heavily loaded. In this case, the
headlight range must be adjusted
to the weight
NOTICE
If there are doubts as to the cor-
rect headlight range, have the
adjustment checked by a spe-
cialized workshop, preferably by
an authorized BMW Motorrad
retailer.
