NOTICE
If the service-due indicator ap-
pears more than a month before
the service date, the date saved
in the instrument cluster must
be adjusted. This situation can
occur if the battery was discon-
nected for a prolonged period of
time.
If you want to have the date
set consult a specialist work-
shop, preferably an authorised
BMW Motorrad dealer.
Service-due date has

General warning light shows
yellow.
SERVICE is displayed perman-
ently.
Possible cause:
Service is due because of the
driving performance or the date.
Have your motorcycle serviced
regularly by a specialist work-
shop, preferably by an author-
ised BMW Motorrad retailer.
The operational and road
safety of the motorcycle remain
intact.
The motorcycle's value is
maintained as best as possible.
