9 Connecting the electrical power supply to the linear

f Before working on the electrical equipment, switch off the power supply and secure it against being switched
on again.
f Follow the safety instructions given in the documentation for the controller used.
f Observe the safety regulations for working with high-voltage equipment!
1. Keep the documentation for the motor/controller at hand.
2. Lay the motor cable(1) at adistance from the encoder cables(2)!
10 Start-up
X Do not start up the product until it has been verified that the end product (for example amachine or
system) into which the Rexroth product has been installed complies with the country-specific requirements,
safetyregulations and standards for the application.
X Prior to start-up and at every lubrication interval, apply an oil film to the cover strip.
