Risk of electric shock!
Switch off the power supply before carrying out any work
on the appliance.
Installation, repairs and maintenance must only be carried
out by specialised and qualified persons.
The following table describes the solutions for possible
problems (these must only be carried out by qualified
contractors).

X Overvoltage or the RCD was triggered (performance
too high).
Check whether the appliance is connected to a
dedicated cable which is designed to supply the
required electric current.
X X Incorrect temperature control by the thermostat. Adjust the thermostat.
X Thermostat safety temperature activated. Confirm that the thermostat is correctly inserted
into the phial pocket.
Reset the thermostat (section 8.5).
Assess maintenance needs (for example,
descaling the electrical heater, removal of dirt).
X Defective heating element. Replace the heating element.
X Incorrect operation of thermostat. Replace or reinstall the thermostat.
X X X X Boiler scale on the appliance and/or the safety
assembly.
Perform descaling.
Assess the need for more frequent maintenance
or water treatment if caused by elevated water
hardness.
Replace the safety assembly, if necessary.
X X X Pressure in the water system. Check the system water pressure.
If necessary, install a pressure reducer
(Fig. 13).
Confirm the need for an expansion vessel (pre-
load 0.5 bar below Pmax).
X X Capacity of the water system Check pipework.
