7.4.7 Flow Sensor Failure

Flow Sensor Failure
Priority
Medium
Alarm condition No data or erroneous data from the flow sensor
Possible cause
Reset criteria
Correct data from the sensor is received again.
An information message remains until acknowledged by
the user.
Ventilator action The Vivo 2 will continue treatment but with the following
limitations:
Monitoring of leakage is disabled.
Volume measurements are disabled.
The patient cannot trigger breaths (applies to assisted
modes)
An information message about the limitations is displayed
on the screen.
7.4.8 Internal Function Failure

Alarm text
Int. Function Failure
Priority High
Alarm condition Failure of internal function that prevents treatment or nor-
mal operation of the ventilator.
The error code that follows the alarm text indicates the kind
of function failure.
Reset criteria
Correct function is restored.
Ventilator action The ventilator will stop the treatment.
Action to take Restart the Vivo 2.
If the alarm persists or reoccurs: Take a note of the error
code and contact your supplier of the Vivo 2 .
