Controlling the Sound of a Performance

You can use the procedure below to raise or lower the pitches of the main part and layer part in octave
units.
1.
While holding down FUNCTION, press the F3 or G3 keyboard key.
Do not release FUNCTION until step 2, below.
2.
Press the C{4 or E}4 keyboard key.
You can specify a value in the range of –3 to +3 octaves.
A reference tone sounds whenever the setting values becomes 0.
To return the setting to its initial default, press the – and + keyboard keys at the same time.
If you changed a part tone, the part octave shift value is the recommended value of the newly
selected part. For information about tone recommended values, see theTone List(page
EN-76).
3.
Release FUNCTION to complete the setting operation.
