Configuration Limiting
Examples
The following examples show OSPF configuration limits:
• Maximum Interfaces for Each OSPF Instance: Example, page 101
• Maximum Routes Redistributed into OSPF: Example, page 102
• Number of Parallel Links (max-paths): Example, page 103
Maximum Interfaces for Each OSPF Instance: Example
The following example shows how the show ospf command is used to display the maximum number of
OSPF interfaces:
RP/0/RSP1/CPU0:router# show ospf
Mon May 31 22:20:15.618 DST
Routing Process "ospf 100" with ID 10.144.144.144
NSR (Non-stop routing) is Enabled
Supports only single TOS(TOS0) routes
Supports opaque LSA
Router is not originating router-LSAs with maximum metric
Initial SPF schedule delay 50 msecs
Minimum hold time between two consecutive SPFs 200 msecs
Maximum wait time between two consecutive SPFs 5000 msecs
Initial LSA throttle delay 50 msecs
Minimum hold time for LSA throttle 200 msecs
Maximum wait time for LSA throttle 5000 msecs
Minimum LSA interval 200 msecs. Minimum LSA arrival 100 msecs
