throughthesparkplughole.Rotateenginecrankshaftbyhandseveraltimesandtheninstallthesparkplugand
tightenitto18ft·lb(24.5N·m).
7.Adjusttirestorecommendedtirepressure.SeeVehicleSpecicationsonpage70.
8.Performsemiannualperiodiclubrication.SeePeriodicLubricationSchedulesonpage45.
9.Thoroughlycleanfrontbody,rearbody,seats,enginecompartment,andundersideofvehicle.
10.Donotengagetheparkbrake.Chockthewheelstopreventthevehiclefromrolling.

1.Restorethefuelsystemstooperation.
1.1.Removetheplugfromthefueltankvent.
1.2.Connecttheventtubetothefueltankvent.

3.PlacetheForward/ReversehandleintheNEUTRALpositionandtheneutrallockoutswitchintheMAINTENANCE
position.Cranktheengineuntilfuelispumpedintothefuelinjectorandfuellinesandtheenginestarts.Turnthe
engineoffandreturntheneutrallockoutswitchtotheOPERATEposition.SeefollowingNOTE.
NOTE:Duetotheoiladdedtotheengineinpreparationforstorage,enginemaysmokeexcessivelyforashort
timewhenitisrunforthersttimeafterstorage.
