•TurnthekeyswitchtotheOFFpositionbeforefueling.
•Donotpourfuelintothefueltankwhentheengineishotorwhileitisrunning.
•Toavoidelectricarccausedbystaticelectricity,thefuelstorage/pumpingdevicemustbegrounded.If
thepumpisnotgrounded,thevehiclemustbegroundedtothepumpbeforeandduringthefueling
operation.
•Ifthevehiclehasanall-weatherenclosureinstalled,besurethefueltankisproperlyventedasshown.
•Toavoidthepossibilityofre,cleanupanyspilledfuelbeforeoperatingthevehicle.
CAUTION
•Useunleadedgasolineonly.
•Wheneverpossible,avoidusingoxygenatedandblendedfuels.
•Donotuseanyfuelwithanalcoholcontentthatexceeds10%byvolume(suchasE15andE85).
Ethanolisanalcoholthatreadilyabsorbsmoisture,causingcorrosionoffuelsystemcomponents.It
alsodamagesneopreneandotherplasticandrubbercomponents.Useofthesefuelsinthisvehicle
willvoidthewarranty.
•Donotrepeatedlyattempttostartavehiclewhenthefuelpumpisdry(nogasintank).Doingso
candamagethefuelpump.
