1.1 OPERATION
1. Make sure that:
• the wall-mounted on/off switch is switched on;
• the water and steam (*) cocks are open;
• water or steam (*) is present in the respective distribution networks;
• the pump protection filters are installed in the respective positions;
• the over flow is inserted;
• the spray arms rotate freely;
• temperatures used are those which are recommended at 55°C for washing and 85°C for rinsing;
• make sure that dishware is in good conditions as it may cause cleaning difficulty and haven bacteria.
(*) for steam machines only.
1.1.a Switching ON
When the machine is off, the display shows “O.F.F.”

To turn on the machine press the “Q1” switch.
The indicator light of the last cycle selected turns on (“H9a-b-c-d”).
The “H9b” indicator light turns on the first time the machine is turned on.
During the loading of the tank the display shows “F. .2.”.

When the loading is completed (
“S3” START button GREEN), the display
shows the tank temperature and the boiler and tank heaters are turned on, IF NECESSARY.
Pour the dose of active chlorine-based industrial detergent recommended by the manufacturer on the filter
located inside the tank. We recommend the use of industrial detergents and chlorine-based disinfectants to
install automatic dispensers, because pouring the detergent directly into the tank can cause the appearance of
brown spots on the surfaces due to the chlorine reaction. Never exceed with the doses of the product in order
not to damage the environment.
1.1.b Wash cycle selection
3. Press the “S9” button to select the wash cycle according to the dirtiness of the dishes:
• H9a short cycle: 120sec.;
• H9b medium cycle: 240sec.;
• H9c long cycle: 360sec.;
• H9d intensive cycle: it is possible to perform an intensive wash that will remain activated until
the “S3” button is pressed again or a maximum time of 8 min. is reached; the pause, rinse and drain
(if required) phases will follow.
The objects to be washed, where from solid residuals shall have been previously removed.
N.B.: When the objects to be washed present burnt crusts, or a long time is elapsed from cooking up to the time
of washing, it is necessary to make a previous softening in water at 50°C, by using an appropriate softening
product. Avoid the use of products for manual washing, because they could cause foam inside the machine.
1.1.c Starting the wash cycle
4. Press and hold the “S3” START button (for about 5 sec.) to set the startup mode of the chosen wash
cycle:
• “H9...” indicator light turns on (steady):
automatic startup by closing the door.
• “H9...” indicator light flashes:
manual startup pressing the “S3 start” button.
If the choice of startup of the cycle in automatic mode is performed with the door closed, it is necessary to
open and then close the door to start the cycle.
