CHANGING THE DECK BELT
TheV-beltsfoundon yourtractorarespeciallydesignedtoengage
anddisengagesafely.A substitute(non-OEM)V-beltcan bedanger-
ousbynotdisengagingcompletely.Fora properworkingmachine,
usefactoryapprovedbeltsas listedin the PartsListmanualincluded
withthis product..
All beltsonyourtractoraresubjectto wearandshouldbereplacedif
anysignsofwear arepresent.Tochangeor replacethe deckbelt on
yourtractor,proceedasfollows:
1. Removethedeckasinstructedon page20.
2. Removethebeltcoversfromtheouterspindlesby removingthe
hexscrewsthatfastenthemtothe deck.SeeFigure14.
