Installing the adapter PERC
Prerequisites
1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions.
2. Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.
3. If installed, remove the air shroud.
4. Route the cable properly to prevent the cable from being pinched or crimped.
Steps
1. Rotate the PCIe holder and remove the PCIe blank from the chassis.
2. Connect the SAS cables to the adapter PERC.
NOTE: The numbers on the image do not depict the exact steps. The numbers are for representation of sequence.
NOTE: The adapter PERC option is only available with 12 x 3.5-inch SAS/SATA backplane configuration.
