Removing the PCIe mezzanine card
Prerequisites
1 Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety instructions.
2 Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.
Steps
1 Push and hold the retention bracket away from the PCIe mezzanine card.
2 Open the PCIe mezzanine card retention latch by pressing the release tab on the retention latch.
3 Lift the end of the retention latch until the two connectors on the PCIe mezzanine card disengage from connectors on the system
board.
CAUTION: To prevent damage to the PCIe mezzanine card, you must hold the card only by its edges.
4 Lift the PCIe mezzanine card away from the system.
5 Close the retention latch.
