
The rated voltage of the motor is usually AC230V/200V 50Hz/60Hz and the input voltage of the AC motor
drive may vary between 180V to 264 VAC 50Hz/60Hz. Therefore, when the AC motor drive is used without
AVR function, the output voltage will be the same as the input voltage. When the motor runs at voltages
exceeding the rated voltage with 12% - 20%, its lifetime will be shorter and it can be damaged due to higher
temperature, failing insulation and unstable torque output.

AVR function automatically regulates the AC motor drive output voltage to the Maximum Output Voltage
(Pr.01-02). For instance, if Pr.01-02 is set at 200 VAC and the input voltage is at 200V to 264VAC, then the
Maximum Output Voltage will automatically be reduced to a maximum of 200 VAC.

When motor stops with deceleration, it will shorten deceleration time. When setting this parameter to 02
with auto acceleration/deceleration, it will offer a quicker deceleration.
