Error messages
NOTE
tAn error message is displayed if Audyssey
®
Auto Setup could not be completed due to speaker placement, the measurement environment, etc. If this happens, check the relevant items, be sure to take the necessary
measures, then perform Audyssey
®
Auto Setup over again.
tIf the result still differs from the actual connection status after remeasurement or the error message still appears, it is possible that the speakers are not connected properly. Turn this unit off, check the speaker
connections and repeat the measurement process from the beginning.
tBe sure to turn off the power before checking speaker connections.

tThe connected setup microphone is broken, or a device other than the
supplied setup microphone is connected.
tNot all speakers could be detected.
tThe front L speaker was not properly detected.
tConnect the included setup microphone to the SETUP MIC jack of this unit.
tCheck the speaker connections.

Caution!
Ambient noise is too high or level is too low

Audyssey Auto Setup
tThere is too much noise in the room for accurate measurements to be
made.
tSpeaker or subwoofer sound is too low for accurate measurements to be
made.
tEither turn off any device generating noise or move it away.
tPerform again when the surroundings are quieter.
tCheck the speaker installation and the direction in which the speakers are
facing.
tAdjust the subwoofer’s volume.

tCheck the connections of the displayed speaker.
