Configuring a Serial Tunnel
Introduction
A serial tunnel is a network connection between two serial
devices, each of which is connected to the serial port of a Digi
device server. The serial devices “think” they are
communicating with each other across a serial cable using
serial communication techniques. Neither is aware of the
intervening network.
The following figure illustrates this configuration.
