The “ProgDate”
“Progdate” is a kind of taximeter programming based on me events. This means that is possible to defi ne a period
of me during which a par cular ac on is performed by the taximeter.
The M1 MDT meter can be programmed with up to 50 Progdate records, every one with diff erent ac va on mes or
ac on to be performed.
The ac va on date of every record can be one of the following:
• from a start date to an end date
• a specifi c date of every year
• a specifi c day of every month
• some specifi c days of every week
It is also possible to specify a me period during the ac va on days, defi ned by a start me and an end me (for
example from 12.00 to 15.00 to iden fy the peak hour).
When the Progdate is ac vated, a programmed ac on is performed by the meter. Some are pre-defi ned, with fi xed
meaning, some other are referred to the M1 MDT programming ques ons. These are the possible ac ons codes, with
their meaning:
Night Time = ProgDate 1
Holiday Time = ProgDate 2
ac ons iden fi ed by Ques on 63 to Ques on 73 of the meter programming. = ProgDate 3
ac ons iden fi ed by Ques on 74 to Ques on 84 of the meter programming. = ProgDate 4
ac ons iden fi ed by Ques on 85 to Ques on 95 of the meter programming. = ProgDate 5
ac ons iden fi ed by Ques on 96 to Ques on 106 of the meter programming. = ProgDate 6
ac ons iden fi ed by Ques on 107 to Ques on 117 of the meter programming. = ProgDate 7
ac ons iden fi ed by Ques on 118 to Ques on 128 of the meter programming. = ProgDate 8
Maintenance Expired = ProgDate 14
Winter / Summer Time = ProgDate 15
Dimmer Time = ProgDate 16
logo to print (only with Printer Due / Tre and specifi c fi rmware releases) = ProgDated 17 to 28
Ac ons related to the programming Ques ons can be an absolute or rela ve block jump, a cost percentage or delta
diff erence in the costs, or other similar ac ons.
Please refer to the M1 MDT manual (Programming parameters chapter) for a detailed explana on of the eff ects of
every specifi c one.
It is possible to program a tariff in advance, by wri ng its parameters in a not ac ve block of the tariff grid.
This pre-programmed tariff can be ac vated at the me and date specifi ed by a progdate, using the absolute block
jump ac on or rela ve block jump ac on, so that the execu on could jump to the block of the pre-programmed tariff .
