5. Correcting Folding Misalignment
Folding misalignment consists of two types; “folding misalignment along the vertical length of the pa-
per” and “folding misalignment along the sides of the paper.”

When folded paper is misaligned along the vertical
length as shown in the gure, turn the ne adjustment
knob to correct the misalignment.
Use the mark on the folding plate just as a reference. You may need ne adjustments ac-
cording to various conditions such as environmental conditions (temperature, humidity),
paper quality, paper thickness, paper ber direction, cutting accuracy and printing condi-
tions.
