FILTER SYSTEM
The lter stops large pieces of food and other solid objects getting into the pump.
The lter system comprises a coarse lter, a at lter (main lter) and a microlter (ne lter).
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Filter unit
The lter efciently removes leftover food from the washing water so that it can be reused in the wash cycle.
For optimum functionality and washing results, the lter unit must be cleaned regularly. It is thus advisable to
clear the lter of coarse particles before each wash cycle. To do this, rinse the lter and lter body under run-
ning water. To remove the lter unit, pull the handle upwards.
WARNING! Never run the dishwasher without the lter in place. Incorrect lter installation can reduce
machine functionality and damage plates and cutlery.
Main lter A
Leftover food and dirt particles that get caught in this lter
are split up nely by a special jet from the spray arm. They
are then rinsed away via the drain hose.
Fine lter B
This lter holds dirt particles and leftover food in the sump so
that they do not get back onto the washing-up.
Coarse lter C
Large particles (e.g. pieces of bone, broken glass, etc.) that
could block the drain outlet are caught in the coarse lter.
To remove objects that have been caught in the coarse lter,
grasp the grips above the lter and lift.
