STEP 1 Attach the mounting template to the wall with tape. Ensure that the bracket will be 100% perfectly level.
STEP 2 Drill the holes for approved vents in accordance with the specifi cations of the grille style you are using.
Make sure 1/8” of the of the pipe/sleeve extends into the room so that the unit will be tight against the
pipe/sleeve.
STEP 3
A x the wall mount bracket with two screws on the right and left edges as well as at least four screws
in the middle. At least 2 of the screws on the bracket must be a xed to wood or cement, the other two
holes may be fastened to the drywall using TOGGLER
® brand, SNAPTOGGLE® Heavy-Duty Toggle Bolts
model number BB or BBS in 1/4”. Do not use any other fastener.
STEP 4
If using an external drain for condensate, drill a hole as indicated on the template for the condensate
to drain outside. Make sure to drill the hole at a 3 degree downward angle.
STEP 5 If the anti-lifting bracket hole does not line up with a stud, it may be fastened to the drywall using
TOGGLER
® brand, SNAPTOGGLE® Heavy-Duty Toggle Bolts model number BB or BBS in 1/4”. Do not use
any other fastener.
STEP 6
If hardwiring the unit make sure the junction box and appropriate connections are located in the
electrical connection area.
WARNING
LEAK POTENTIAL
The unit must be 100% level on both horizontal and vertical axises.
If the unit is not perfectly level, there is a likelihood the unit will leak.
Use a digital level. We will not certify a unit that is not 100% level.
