The following page describes the troubleshooting workflow. Follow the flow when troubleshooting problems.

 This flowchart is compiled based on the following contents.

• Our experience regarding the quality problem

• ESK’s repair data

• Printer Mechanism specification for WF-7620/WF-7610/WF-7110 Series

 WF-7110 Series does not have the Scanner/ADF unit, so the troubleshooting for the

Scanner/ADF unit is not applicable to this series.

 If the reason for the return is evident, first check the phenomenon user claims recurs,

then proceed to the troubleshooting.

What to do if Epson Printer indicates error during power-on sequence?

  If your Epson Printer shows an error during the power-on sequence, several factors could be the cause. Ensure the maintenance box is installed correctly by turning the printer off, reinstalling the maintenance box, and then turning it back on. Check if any ink cartridges are empty and replace them if needed. If the ink cartridge data is incorrect or not recognized, try removing and reinstalling the cartridge. Make sure all ink cartridges are properly installed. Also, verify that the scanner unit (printer cover) is closed. Finally, if a paper jam occurred before the initial ink charge, open the scanner unit and remove the CR fixing tape.

  Your Epson Printer might not be powering on due to a few potential hardware issues. It could be due to damage to the Power Supply Unit, the Main Board, or the Panel Unit. Suggested solutions include Power Supply Unit replacement, Main Board replacement or Panel Unit replacement.
