6.1 General information
6.1.1 Explanation
The following programs are included on the ThermoVision System Tools & Utilities appli-
cation CD:
• FLIR IP Config: A set-up and configuration program to detect and find FLIR automa-
tion and science cameras on a network and automatically assign or manually set IP
addresses.
• FLIR IR Monitor: A program to control FLIR automation and science cameras on a
network. You typically use FLIR IR Monitor to change camera settings, lay out meas-
urement tools on the screen, set up alarms, etc.
• FLIR IR Camera Player: A PC-based remote control and video player for IR cameras
from FLIR Systems.
• A link to a web installation of FLIR AXXX Control & Image Interfaces: An installation
that includes Interface Control Documents (ICDs), user documentation and C-code
examples. We recommend that you read through the documentation.

6.2 System requirements
6.2.1 Operating system
• Microsoft Windows XP Professional, with Service Pack 2 (SP2).
• Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit.
• Microsoft Windows 7, 32-bit and 64-bit.
6.2.2 Hardware
• Personal computer with a 2 GHz 32-bit or 64-bit processor.
• 1 GB of RAM or more.
• 20 GB of hard disk space.
• Super VGA (1024 × 768) or higher-resolution monitor.
• Support for DirectX 9 graphics with:
• WDDM driver
• 128 MB of graphics memory (minimum)
• Pixel Shader 2.0 (in hardware)
• 32 bits per pixel.
• DVD-ROM drive.
• Audio output.
• Keyboard and Microsoft mouse, or a compatible pointing device.
6.2.3 Software
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 or later.
