SlotExpressCard
An ExpressCard slot enables operation of an ExpressC ard/34 or ExpressC ard/54.
Consult the documen tation su pplied by the ExpressCard’s manufactu rer
and follow the instructions p rovided.
Never use force when installing or removing an ExpressCard.
Make su re that no foreign objects enter the ExpressCard slot.
Inserting the card
Keep the placeholder for the slot in a safe place. When you remove the card ag ain, you
must reinstall the place holder. This prevents foreign objects from getting into the slot.

to make the card placeholder protrude
from the notebook’s case.

► Gently push the card into the slot until you
feel it click into place. Do not use any force.
