Cleaning the device

it only using a soft, sli
ghtly moistened cloth.

g can be cleaned with a dry cloth. If particularly dirty, use a cloth that
has been moist ened in m
ild dom estic detergent and then carefu lly wrung out.
CE marking
The shipped version of this device complies with the re quirements of EEC
directives 2004/108/EC "Electromagnetic compatibility" and 2006/95/EC
"Low voltage directive".

The Fujitsu L CD monitor is eq uipped with a power management system
which reduces the power consumption in OFF mode to less than
0.5 W. With this, the LCD monitor satisfies the requirements of the U.S.
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
The EPA esti
mates that computer equipment uses approximately 5 % of all business
electrici
ty and that this is growing rapidly. If all desktop PCs and peripherals were to enter
a low-powe
r mode when not in use , the overall electricity saving could am ount to $ 2 billion
annually.
These savings cou ld also prevent the emission of 20 million tons of carbon dioxide
into the a
tmosphere - equivalent to the discharge from 5 million cars.
